Over 1,000 tourists are set to visit Iran for the auspicious occasion of Imam Mahdi (AS) birth anniversary.
As the birthday of the last Shia Muslim Imam is approaching, it is not just the Iranian people preparing themselves for the ceremonies and rituals to mark the happy event.
According to an IRIB report, this year around 1,000 international tourists will visit Jamkaran mosque located in Iranian holy city of Qom to celebrate Sha’ban 15, the birthday anniversary of Twelfth Shia Imam.
Pilgrims from Iran and abroad annually gathered in Jamkaran mosque of Qom where the sacred site is historically believed to be established by direct order of the awaited savior.
